Our Shore Based Maintenance contract give you peace of mind, knowing that your vessels is always handled by the best engineers available. The SBM contract ensures you that parts and engineers are never further away than a phone call !
A SBM contract secure you access to certified engineers who can makes sure that your GMDSS, AIS, EPIRB, SARTS, LRIT installations works.
Onboard Partners engineers are constantly trained and certified to render this service and are always ready to provide the SBM wherever your vessel might be moored or anchored.
Covered under a SBM contract is:
We undertake to carry out service, maintenance and certification of the deployed equipment used for navigation and communication and to:
- issue you a Certificate in accordance with the regulation IV para. 15 of SOLAS 1974, as per the 1988 supplement for GMDSS, for the GMDSS units and equipment being part of the contracted equipment
- guaranty you the availability of certified and highly trained engineers to provide the service
- arrange for provision of a worldwide service, independent of deployed equipment and its manufacturers
- handle all communication and the involved costs in connection with each service case
- to a certain degree, to keep stock of standard replacement equipment
- provide you with a detailed invoice and service report
